The topic of this artwork is texture. The aim of the artwork is to show the beauty of the nature, which is shown by the peacock. The reason why I choose peacock is because peacock is gorgeous, with lots of textures on it. It does have many textures, and I do think I did success in making the texture with different materials.

Acrylic paint on canvas, 60 x 90 cm, September 2015

This artwork is a self-portrait of myself. The reason why I choose to draw a cat is because I’m zealot of the cat. The spirit of the custom of the cat is because I’m interested in Shanghai in the period of the Republic of China. What the cat wears is the custom of the cat. The skin of the cat is pink is because I’m a super fans of pink. The background and the jewels of the cat of this painting is the bar in the old Shanghai.
