The topic of this artwork is the Chinese New Year. What the artwork shows is a situation in the Chinese society. Red pockets means bringing good luck in China. People will get red pocket during the Chinese New Year, therefore they as the time past, people wants red pocket not for the best wishes from the red pocket, but the money inside it. Some people even complain the amount of the money is not enough. That’s what I want to criticise.

The topic of this artwork is texture. The aim of the artwork is to show the beauty of the nature, which is shown by the peacock. The reason why I choose peacock is because peacock is gorgeous, with lots of textures on it. It does have many textures, and I do think I did success in making the texture with different materials.
